I'm definitely over-thinking this, but it's because I don't think I ovulated at all last month - my chart never showed a sustained rise, my OPK was negative, and we had sex every day for 2 weeks and didn't get pregnant. . You then need 3 consecutive high temps to confirm your ovulation on fertility friend then you can get an accurate count on your dpo, good luck! xx. BBT is more "accurate" in that it is the only of the two that will actually confirm that you've ovulated. Unfortunately, it only tells you after the fact.
