I had been using exam crackers (3-4 passages a day during study breaks) then jumped to uworld cars when tired of content review on other topics. I took an AAMC FL and went from a 123 to 128 so I personally think it really helped.
These exams are fairly accurate, and probably more representative than either Kaplan or Princeton Review. The biggest complaint that comes up with these tests is that some CARS passages tend to be quite different from the typical AAMC style. But this past week I started the AAMC CARS diagnostic (I test March 22), and am doing noticeably worse on the diagnostic passages, like getting 4/6 or 2-3/5 on passages, as opposed to 5-6/6 and 5/5’s that I was getting on Uworld.

If the average AAMC passage is a 5/10, UWorld (for me) is a 7/10, and Picasso is a 10/10. I was scoring 129-131 in CARS (85-90% on QPacks) and got an 80% overall on UWorld. 5.
